Waterside Primary Care Network Patient survey of Same Day Access Service

0%

Over the next few months, Waterside Primary Care Network and Hampshire & Isle of Wight Clinical Commissioning Group will be seeking the views of residents in the Waterside Primary Care Network area – this includes patients who are registered at Red and Green Practice, Waterfront and Solent Surgery, Forestside Medical Practice covering the area of Hythe, Dibden, Blackfield, Forestside, Marchwood, Fawley, Calshot on their views on providing a  same day access service at the Hythe and Dibden War Memorial Hospital site for GP same day  appointments.

Our first priority is to make sure that all local people have access to the right health care services. With that in mind, it is important that we work with local people to decide what their health services should look like.

We would like to know how you would feel about seeing a healthcare professional - GP, Nurse or Health Care Assistant at the Hythe Hospital site for an urgent same day appointment if this was required.  We would like to know if you could travel to Hythe Hospital if it meant you were seen the same day for an appointment, with practices continuing to offer routine appointments from all sites.

We would also like to know how you have felt about some of the changes to the ways that services are provided as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Your answers and feedback will help us to consider how we develop a same day access service.

If you have any concerns regarding this survey please contact Gail Stringer at hsiccg.swcommunity@nhs.net
