Vauxhall Road Active Travel

About this survey

We are working with a design team, Flinders Chase, to prepare designs for walking, cycling and highway improvements on Vauxhall Road and Commercial Road from Liverpool City Centre to Sandhills Lane.

These improvements form part of the region’s wider ambition to create 600km of high-quality active travel routes to better connect communities, provide a wider range of low-cost travel choices, reduce congestion and improve health.

This short survey provides a series of questions to get your views about the proposals and how transport infrastructure in the area can be improved.  The survey responses will help us improve the designs and inform decisions about implementing the project.

We want to hear from residents, businesses in the area, commuters that use the route, people working locally and anyone else who has an interest in this scheme.

Your views will help inform and shape the final design of the project to be put forward to the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority and Active Travel England for funding for construction.  If the project proceeds, it is likely to start construction in 2025.

The questionnaire will take approximately 5 to 10 minutes to complete.

The closing date for responses is 2nd October 2024.
