Your Feedback on our Clinical Ambition

Thank you for taking time to feedback through this survey on how we develop the UHN clinical ambition into a strategy. 

This is an exciting period for our University Hospitals of Northamptonshire Group as it comes at a time of significant change as we integrate health and social care, and deliver the group model.

The Group clinical ambition was approved at the November Boards of both Trusts and describes how we will bring the clinical teams across Northamptonshire closer together to improve care and experience for our local population.  At a high level it proposes:

• Increased work with health and care partners across Northamptonshire to prevent ill-health and reduce hospitalisation.
• Developing Countywide centres of excellence, starting with cardiology and cancer.
• Protecting elective care to reduce waiting lists and increase efficiency.
• Building on our University status to become a hub for teaching, innovation and research.

There are some areas proposed in the ambition which we need to build on to develop into a strategy which can be delivered over the coming 3-5 years, and your answers will help us shape it.


What will happen with the data I enter?

The information you enter within this survey will only be used by the University Hospitals of Northamptonshire to assist with the development of a group clinical strategy. 

We may use some of your quotes within clinical ambition and strategy literature and marketing materials. Your individual responses will remain anonymous unless you choose to provide us with your contact information on the final page of the survey. The data will not be used in a manner which would allow identification of your individual responses. During the survey we will ask for your age, gender and ethnicity. These questions are optional and will only be used for analytical purposes and will help us review which demographical areas of our community provided us with responses.
