U12 MTB DH Dispensation Request

 
This form is to be completed by parents or guardians of riders who are wishing to request dispensation to ride in the juvenile category at regional and national series downhill events, as per regulation M4.5:

M4.5. Licensed MTB DH riders in their 12th year may request dispensation from the Federation to compete in the Juvenile category

British Cycling will base its decision on several guiding principles and criteria:
  1. You must be able to demonstrate clear and obvious ability to compete in the juvenile category.
     
  2. You will need to provide results from a minimum of 5 Downhill events.
     
  3. Finishing times of each event will be compared to the winning time from the Juvenile category.
     
  4. Demonstrate competency and experience riding regional and national standard tracks by providing a short video.
     
  5. You must provide supporting evidence / endorsements from a British Cycling official (DH commissaire / DH organiser / Qualified British Cycling L2 MTB coach).
