Serious Violence Duty Survey 2024

1. Background

0%

We want to hear your views on Serious Violence, the impact it has on communities and how to combat it.

Under the Serious Violence Duty introduced in January 2023, the York and North Yorkshire Office for Policing, Fire, Crime and Commissioning (OPFCC), part of the York and North Yorkshire Combined Authority, has a duty to convene partners including North Yorkshire Police, North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service, Probation services, North Yorkshire Council, City of York Council and the Humber and North Yorkshire Integrated Care Board to develop a strategy around Serious Violence.

To support the development of this strategy, the OPFCC and partners would welcome views from members of the public on the impact Serious Violence has on communities and how to address this in their local area.
