RISE Registration

RISE is an expert-led educational training programme offering practical guidance on how to further your involvement in clinical research, as well as recommendations on best practice. The programme, organised and funded by Gedeon Richter, will be taking place at the Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists on Friday 3rd November, and is designed for UK obstetrics and gynaecology trainees (ST1–ST7).

The meeting consists of a mixture of interactive lectures, faculty interviews, consult-the expert sessions, and dedicated networking opportunities, supporting you to build a successful career in research. It will cover an array of practical topics, from designing, delivering and
disseminating data from clinical trials, to ethical considerations in research, applying for funding and navigating the UK research infrastructure.

Expect to hear from renowned experts in the field, including our Chair Professor Andrew Horne (University of Edinburgh), Professor Ying Cheong (University of Southampton), Professor Dharani Hapangama (University of Liverpool), and Associate Professor Katy Vincent (University of Oxford), supported by Dr Lucy Whitaker (University of Edinburgh) and Dr Alison Maclean (University of Liverpool), as they share their expertise and experience of driving research in Women’s Health.
