Our NHS - The next chapter. We need to talk.
The NHS is there for us at the best of times, such as bringing a new life into this world, and also the worst of times, when we hear bad news such as a diagnosis of a life-limiting illness.
We are immensely proud of our NHS. But we have to be honest with you. Right now, it is in serious trouble. Things may sometimes seem broken but we know they can be fixed.
We want to build a health and care system that is fit to respond to today’s challenges.
We want the NHS to be here for us as we grow older as well as for our children and grandchildren.
We want our population to live longer.
We want each community to do all they can to live improved, healthier lives.
We want to do things differently.
And we want to do it together.
We need to talk.
