We want to hear from you if you have a friend or family member in a residential or nursing care home in North Tyneside within the past twelve months.
We’d like to hear about what the care home does well and what could be improved.
We are interested in hearing:
· how well the care home involves friends and family.
· how well they support your friend/family member to have a social life and stay in touch.
· how the care home supports them with their interests and activities; both in the home and local community.
Your views and feedback will be stored safely and will be shared anonymously.
Your views and feedback are important as they will help improve care across North Tyneside. The survey will take about 10 minutes to complete, and you could win a £100 Love2Shop voucher.

This is a joint project between Healthwatch North Tyneside and North Tyneside Council Commissioning Team. The information we gather contributes to the Quality Payment Scheme for residential and nursing care homes. Care homes are awarded a score which puts them in a quality band, with the higher band attracting a higher weekly fee. The Quality Payment Scheme is designed to drive up the quality of care.
