Following the recent bad weather we are collecting data about any flooding experienced.
This flood survey is aimed at recent flooding in October 2023 (Storm Babet) and January 2024 (Storm Henk).
As well as helping us to understand more about which areas were affected, the information provided may be used to:
• Help us assess ways to mitigate flooding in the future
• Make any necessary improvements to our flood warning service
• Work with partners to respond to flooding
• Verify and update our flood mapping
• Help inform our response to planning applications and Environmental Permits for flood risk
We understand that this is a difficult time for everyone, but we hope you feel able to complete this survey to enable us to improve our work in supporting communities that experience flooding.
Please email frt.lincsandnorthants@environment-agency.gov.uk or call us on 03708 506 506 if you would like to talk to us about this survey, or if you have questions about our work in your area.
You may have supplied this information to someone from the Environment Agency already. Please do ignore this survey if this is the case, unless you have anything additional that you would like to share. You may have remembered something at a later date, or like to share photos, CCTV/doorbell images from your home, drone or dashcam footage. Please do not share images of people unless this privacy notice is shared with them. This would all be useful information to help us review how flood risk is managed here.
This survey should take no more than 5 - 10 minutes to complete.
