The Tyrone Guthrie Centre Regional Bursary Scheme is open to practitioners of all the Arts.

This form is intended as a guide to the sort of information you should give.  You can complete as much or as little as will best support your application.  You may also add pages if you wish.

The account of your previous work is very important, as it is what you intend to do during your residency at Annaghmakerrig.  You should give a clear outline of the project you want to undertake.  The Centre will be of most use to those with a definite plan in mind.  Some examples of your work should be sent with your application.  These should be as representative as possible.  If you wish to have this material returned, please enclose a stamped, addressed envelope.

The bursary offered covers a residency period of a maximum of one week only.

Applicants should be born in or domiciled in the Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council area.  Where applicants have studios based outside the area but are residents of the City, the Panel will consider applications accordingly.

It is intended that two applicants can avail of the bursary scheme, but the Panel reserves the right to extend this criteria, if appropriate.

The Panel will accommodate available dates for residencies where possible, but cannot guarantee such requests.

No applications will be included in the short-listing process after the submission deadline.

The decision of the Panel is final.

If you have any problems filling in your application form, please contact Lynda McCord, Assistant Community Arts Officer via lynda.mccord@lisburncastlereagh.gov.uk or 07887 625602.
