As a Council, we value your views when developing plans for the future. We are currently writing our Corporate Plan 2024-2028 and would love to hear what you think about how we will work over the next four years.

Since the Local Government elections in May 2023, we have been working with Elected Representatives (Councillors) to understand their ambitions for the local area. We have also been meeting with staff from all levels across the Council to help develop our plans.  The draft plan sets out a vision for the Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council area, the core values that inform our work and our priorities for the next four years.  This plan will help form our plans and help enable us to measure our impact on the community.

You can access the draft Corporate Plan on our website, or you can give your views in person by attending one of the four public consultations we are hosting across the Council area during November & December. .

Now we want to know what you think.  Your feedback will form an important part of the discussions around the final Corporate Plan and will help shape and impact what we do and the services we will provide over the next few years.

In the document below, we have provided information on the main aspects of the Corporate Plan. There are some questions for you to answer that will help us understand if you think we’re on the right track. The survey should take no more than 5 minutes to complete.

The consultation period will run from 13th November to 31 January 2024. Your views will help us to develop the final version of our Corporate Plan 2024-2028 which will be published on 1st April 2024.
