Introduction
This survey is specifically to give feedback on the draft healthcare and forensic medical examination standards for people who have experienced rape, sexual assault or child sexual abuse. A key element of developing our standards is to invite feedback. Your feedback is valuable to us.
You can view the full pdf version of the standards here.
All the comments and suggestions we receive will remain confidential and will be processed in line with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). They will only be used to help edit and improve the standards.
The consultation on the draft standards closes on Monday 6 January 2025 at midnight. We will be unable to accept any responses after this date unless previously agreed with the project team. All comments submitted will be treated with care and made anonymous.
We are looking for feedback on the content of the standards. For example, we would welcome comments which cover:
- Wording that is unclear or requires clarification
- Potential gaps in the standards or criteria
- Additional references for consideration.
Please note, consultation comments will not be accepted after the closing date or in an alternative format, unless previously agreed with the standards project team.
Feedback on the draft standards will be reviewed and themed by the project team. The development group will reconvene following consultation to review the consultation themes and agree on amendments to the draft standards. The final consultation survey report will be available on request following the publication of the final standards.
Publication of the final standards will be in Spring 2025.
