The Equality Act 2010 requires Awarding Organisations, either directly or through their approved centres, to make Reasonable Adjustments to qualification delivery and assessment to ensure a learner who has a disability as defined in the Act is not placed at a substantial disadvantage in comparison to learners with no disabilities.
This form is used by UAL Approved Centres to submit an application for Reasonable Adjustments on behalf of an eligible learner. One application per learner is required. Before submitting an application, you must have read and understood the UAL Reasonable Adjustments Policy.
Please note, a centre is
not required to submit a Reasonable Adjustments application for an
internally assessed qualification.
Requests for
adapted delivery timeframes are considered via a different application form. Please visit UAL Awarding Body
Policies and Procedures Page to submit a form for an adapted delivery timeframe request.
Adapted delivery timeframe is a request for a learner to undertake a UAL Awarding Body qualification over an extended timeframe different to that of their respective cohort(s), i.e. from a 1 year delivery to a 2 year delivery. Please refer to section 2.1 of the
UAL Reasonable Adjustments Policy for further guidance or contact
