Welcome to the Active Travel England (ATE) design assurance online request system.
This system allows you to request either a design:
- surgery which is either an online or in-person meeting between ATE inspectors and the scheme promoter to find a solution to a design issue
- review which is the process where an authority receives written feedback on a government-funded scheme with active travel elements or the potential for active travel elements from the ATE Inspectorate. ATE use the scheme review tools to determine the level of service to active travel users
These services are for recipients of:
or if a local authority in Scotland, Northern Ireland or Wales that has received LUF funding.
Applications received are subject to prioritisation.
