We’re Healthwatch Suffolk – your local NHS and social care champion. We use people’s experiences to influence local standards of care and support from the NHS and social care services.

Together with the NHS in Suffolk, we’ve launched this survey to explore your experiences of waiting for hospital care. We want to know how waiting for hospital care impacts your life, and explore things that could help people to feel more supported whilst they are waiting.

Taking part in the survey

Please complete the survey in full and provide as much detail as possible. You can skip questions that you would prefer not to answer.

Our survey is anonymous. Any personal information you provide in the survey (such as names or the dates of experiences) will be deleted from our data before it is analysed. Only the Healthwatch Suffolk research team will have access to your completed survey responses.

It is important to know that the things you tell us may be featured in our final public report, which will be shared with local hospitals, uploaded to our website and shared widely to influence local NHS support. We cannot guarantee that you will not be identified by the experiences you describe, but we will always do our best to protect your anonymity in our research.

More information about how we use people’s feedback can be found in our privacy policy (see https://healthwatchsuffolk.co.uk/privacy-policy/, or call us to request a printed copy).
