Study Summary
This study is run by Ella Mannion, Lily-Rose Payne, and Lucy Mandell (Third Year Physiotherapy Students at the University of Southampton) and supervised by Dr Julian Pearce and Dr Rachael Summers.
The aim of this study us to explore student and practice educator (PE) experience and understanding of the new Common Placement Assessment Form (CPAF)
This study is open to you if you:
- are currently a Practice Educator or a Physiotherapy student
- have used the CPAF during a clinical placement at least once
You can volunteer to take part in a survey, a remote interview (via Microsoft Teams) or both survey and interview. The survey should take no more than 10 minutes to complete. The interview takes between 45-60 minutes.
If you choose to take part in the survey you will be routed to the survey questions. The survey is anonymous unless you choose to leave your contact details to volunteer for the interview research.
How we will take care of your information
- Stored securely in a project folder on the University of Southampton’s network – only the research team will have access
- Kept for 10 years (in line with University of Southampton policy)
- Only the Research students and supervisors will have access
- Not referring to specific locations or organisations when we write up our interview sessions
- Not linking individual gender, age or ethnicity to any other individual demographics
- Your information will only used for the purpose of this study
