Club Accreditation

British Cycling Club Accreditation has replaced the previous Clubmark programme. The purpose of Club Accreditation is to recognise clubs which are structured, safe and meeting high standards of governance.

By completing this club development form, you are demonstrating to us that you are operating a safe and structured club and that any current or future members can be safe in the knowledge you are committed to following best practice and operating excellent standards throughout the club.

Clubs delivering activity for under 18s will be recognised as a Accredited Go-Ride Club on the search engine and will appear first.

Within the form we will need you to provide documents, that are easily attached as part of the survey, alongside committing to best practice in different areas of club delivery. Please only complete the form when the club has met all the relevant criteria.

You will require the following documents:

  • Club Health Check document, which can be found here.
  • Recent risk assessment, a template Risk assessment for can be found here
  • Club Code of Conduct policy
  • Club Constitution, a Club Constitution template can be found here.

You may also want to prepare some ideas for potential club development opportunities.

To help your submission, you can find templates, guidance and downloadable resources HERE
