Next year, Camden Council is launching Camden Community Wealth Fund, which will provide investment through repayable long-term loans to help people start or grow a business in Camden. Unlike other investment funds, Camden’s communities will help make decisions about how we invest and what we invest in.
To start with, the Fund will invest in businesses, places and projects in Camden that are on a mission to tackle inequality, increase diversity of people in positions of power, and create economic opportunities for young people.
We are The Bang, a design agency working with Camden Council to develop a brand for Camden Community Wealth Fund.
The brand needs to:
- Appeal to local communities and businesses.
- Encourage local business owners to apply for finance - particularly those who've found it difficult to access finance in the past
- Increase participation and excitement in the Fund

Why your views matter
Not everyone has equal access to the wealth of economic opportunities in Camden. Camden Community Wealth Fund will be aimed at people who may struggle to access finance via more traditional routes. This could include disabled people, young people, residents from our Black, Asian or other ethnic communities, residents from our LGBTQ+ communities, and women.
