Sustrans, Inverclyde Council, Network Rail and Caledonian Maritime Assets Limited recently collaborated on a project (funded by Scottish Government) to realign National Cycle Network Route 75, allowing continuous uninterrupted access for users. Previously, people had to navigate around the station.
The creation of the now continuous route along the coast is a great development and partners would now like to create some visual panels along the 150m stretch of wall as shown in the image below.
We want to showcase the local area to walkers, wheelers and cyclers some of whom will be visitors to the area and will be interested in finding out more, and maybe exploring it further.
We would like your help to shape the design of these and in deciding what content should be included in the designs to make them engaging, informative and look great!
We have a few short questions and would be grateful if you could take a few moments to give us your ideas and views.
We are also on the look out for community photographs of the area that we could potentially used within the design – if you have any photos of views, attractions or built landscapes that you would be happy for us to consider using, please send them to discover@inverclyde.gov.uk with the subject heading Gourock Station Panels.
Please give us your feedback by 22nd November 2024
Thank You!
