Sign up to autistic travel research

Introduction

The Evidence & Research team at the National Autistic Society are running a research project about Empowering Autistic Travel, funded by a grant from the Motability Foundation. Until March 2025, we will run various research activities to bridge a gap in understanding about how autistic people experience travel and public transport, and working with transport professionals to build solutions which could increase access for autistic people.

This sign-up form will take a few minutes to complete and will give you the opportunity to sign up to be considered for research activities in this project, or to hear about our findings. You need to be at least 18 years old and either a transport professional, autistic person or friend/family/carer of someone autistic.

The form will tell you about the different options for taking part and ask for your contact details if you would like to be invited to any activities which all include voucher prize draws or payments. Recruitment for autistic audiences has closed, though you can instead use the form to register to hear about our findings. Completing this form is voluntary and your details will not be shared. If you have any questions or would prefer to complete this form via email, please contact anna.taylor@nas.org.uk with the subject line ‘Empowering Autistic Travel’.
