The additional learning needs (ALN) system is replacing the special educational needs (SEN) system, a process happening over four academic years from September 2021 to August 2025.
What is this survey about?
Arad Research are conducting an evaluation of the ALN system on behalf of Welsh Government. As part of the evaluation, this survey will gather the views of parents and carers about the ALN system in Wales.
This important research will help the Welsh Government to understand how it can continue to improve the ALN system.
This survey will take about 15 minutes to complete.
Do I have to take part?
No, it's your choice. Participation is completely voluntary, and it will not cause you any harm if you choose not to take part or if you choose not to answer all the questions.

Will my contribution to this study be kept confidential?

Arad Research will use the information gathered to produce a report that will be published on the Welsh Government website. This report will not include any information that could be used to identify individual participants.
