The John Hewitt International Summer School Residency Award is open to either amateur or professional practitioners of the Arts in the following fields: storytelling, language, music, poetry, literature and history.

This form is intended as a guide to the sort of information you should give. You can complete as much or as little as will best support your application. You may also add pages if you wish.

If you wish to submit relevant material in support of your application, please enclose a stamped, addressed envelope for the return of this information.

The Award offered covers the residency period of the summer school only. The successful applicant must attend the complete summer school.

Applicants must be born in or domiciled in the Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council area.

It is intended that only one applicant can avail of the Award scheme, but the Panel reserves the right to extend this criteria, if appropriate.

No applications will be included in the short-listing process after the submission deadline.

The decision of the Panel is final.
