The Analysis Function is a collaboration between analytical professions who deliver research, evidence and advice to a consistent and professional standard. This includes anyone in the following professions across Government:

Data Scientists
Operational Researchers
Social Researchers

What is the purpose of the survey?
Collecting diversity information is particularly important to ensure we can identify whether any groups are underrepresented and to develop the appropriate action plans to ensure a diverse and inclusive analytical workforce. By providing us with the information it will allow us to develop a full picture of the Analysis Function and to obtain and monitor diversity information of analysts across Government. By completing the survey, you are agreeing for your information to be used for this purpose.

How will my information be used?
Any information you provide will be stored securely, and anonymised to prevent the identification of any individual and any information relating to any individual completing the survey. The data will be analysed by the Government Statistical Service, as well as volunteer analysts, throughout the following year. When published or shared, the results will be subject to suppression where aggregated values are equal or less than five.
