We're delighted you are interested in adopting one of our Reading Owls!
Every Owl supported will help us to gift a further 1,500 books to children via one of our Pop Up Book Huts. These bright green huts pop up in participating school playgrounds and invite children to 'Have a look, Take a book'. With no barriers to choice, access or ownership, children with very few books of their own feel empowered to choose books from within that they are excited about and that they want to share with family and friends. Books are gifted to children at no cost to themselves, their family or their school.
A thank you for your support
We have two Reading Owls this year, and we are inviting our supporters to adopt one of these for a £5 monthly donation (or whatever you can afford). To say thank you we will send you or a nominated recipient one of our cuddly Reading Owls, a personalised certificate, regular email updates and an invitation to attend a Family Event at Book HQ in SW10.
Your donation will help offset the cost of sourcing, sorting, boxing and distributing over 1,500 books per term to each new school, along with the loan of their Pop Up Book Hut.
