Application for Skill Up Postgraduate Programmes
Thank you for your interest in our SkillUp programmes.
SkillUp funding is competitive at Stranmillis University College. Therefore, the College reserves the right to request an interview. All candidates are asked to consider carefully their application detail as guided below.
Please note the following:
- The College cannot accept responsibility if the result of this application is affected by omissions or by incomplete or inaccurate information supplied by the candidate.

- When you provide information regarding your referee, we will request information via email. It is your responsibility to ensure these contact details are correct and to ensure your referee provides this information in a timely manner.
- Please ensure you are academically eligible for the particular programme for which you wish to apply. Academic criteria can be found on the Stranmillis Website Course Pages.
- Applicants must reside in Northern Ireland in order to qualify for SkillUp funding. However, if you are from outside Northern Ireland and you are academically eligible, you can self-fund.
- In the event of places being over-subscribed, an interview may be required.
- We will process your data in line with our Student Privacy Statement, which covers the Stranmillis University College policy on Secure Handling, Use, Storage and Retention of Disclosure Information.
- Unsuccessful applicants who meet the academic criteria will be contacted to determine if they would like to proceed on a self-funded basis.
- Partially completed application forms may be accessible by College staff.
- Partially completed applications forms will not be considered after the closing date and will be deleted.
