Safe System Survey (3rd edition): Culture

With the recent UK General Election comes the opportunity for practitioners and Safe System stakeholders everywhere to reflect on priorities and shared ways of working to achieve the best safety outcomes possible for local, regional and national road networks.

For this round of the Safe System Capacity Survey, we are asking dedicated professionals to really reflect on how their organisations work in their contributions to the Safe System – thinking carefully about culture, behaviour and organisational norms.

Again, we want to hear from as many people as possible who have a role in the Safe System in some way or another. Anyone from a local highway authority, police force, fire and rescue service, or partnership can participate – as can those from charities and NGOs, as well as private sector stakeholders and institutions. National and international culture are both instrumental to success, so please encourage as many colleagues as possible both in the UK and overseas to help us dissect Safe System cultural maturity together.

Thank you in advance for taking the time to provide your insights. You can save the survey and come back to it anytime and should take no longer 15-20 minutes to complete.

The survey will remain open throughout the summer, closing on Friday 13th September. We very much look forward to analysing your results, and encourage you to attend to a webinar shortly after the closing date where the results will be discussed in further detail.

The data you provide will not be used to identify you personally or your organisation, but to inform the sector-level analysis.
