Earlier this year we consulted on our
Homelessness and Rough Sleeping Strategy 2019-2024. We are currently recommissioning our Rough Sleeping Services, with a view to new contracts being in place at the start of October 2020.
We have a number of proposals for remodelling the way we will offer out contracts to our providers and making some changes to the services provided. We feel these will have a positive impact on the way services are delivered to those who need it and will ultimately reduce rough sleeping in the city.
We would like to hear the views of all of our stakeholders - providers, clients, voluntary sectors partners and the community - about our key proposals. We also seek comments and ideas from as wide a range of people as possible about how we can ensure the services that we provide will have the best possible, lasting impact for our service users.
Whilst this is a publically available consultation and we welcome feedback from everyone, please note that the survey is largely aimed at key stakeholders such as providers and current/past users of our rough sleeping services, those with knowledge of providing rough sleeping services, and/ or those with lived experience of rough sleeping. The consultation survey questions have been designed accordingly for this purpose.
