1. RESEARCH IN GROUPS at ICMS APPLICATIONS

This is the application form for Research in Groups programmes at ICMS to take place from January 2026 onwards. There is no availability in Edinburgh before this date. The submission deadlines are 1 March; 1 May; 1 October. You should expect to hear the outcome of your application within two months of the submission deadline date.

Proposal
In addition to the brief description, you should provide a proposal in support of for your Research-in-Groups application. You should also send a summary c.v. for each participant, publication details etc. The proposal should be no more than four A4 pages in length.

Travel costs. We will generally reimburse costs up to the following rates. UK £150; Europe £300; Rest of World £600. Accommodation. ICMS will reimburse up to £110 per night. We will can award up to £35 per day towards costs for food and local expenses during your visit. *

8. When would you like to come to Edinburgh to carry out this project? Please provide one or two suggested date ranges. ICMS does not host any events in August. THERE IS NO AVAILABILITY FOR ACTIVITY IN EDINBURGH PRIOR TO JANUARY 2026. *
