Reigate & Banstead Borough Council - Local Businesses Survey

About

Reigate & Banstead Borough Council is currently in the process of preparing a new Local Plan which will plan for the development needs (including housing, employment, retail and open space) of the borough over the period to 2043. As part of the evidence base to inform the new Reigate & Banstead Borough Council Local Plan, we are preparing an Economic Needs Assessment which will assess the need for employment accommodation in the borough. To ensure our evidence is accurate, the Council needs to understand the current local business market and we are asking local businesses for their expertise on this. In particular:

1. ·       What types of businesses are operating in the borough
2. ·       How many employees do these businesses have and where they commute from
3. ·       Where do most of their customers come from
4. ·       Details of the premises of these businesses in the borough (type, size, rent of premises)
5. ·       What factors attract/prevent businesses from locating within the borough
6. ·       Challenges to these businesses, including barriers to growth and staff recruitment and retention 
7. ·       Future prospects of these businesses
8. ·       Sustainability and green practices of businesses in the borough, including working from home and electric vehicle charging infrastructure
   
   

This survey will take approximately 10 - 15 minutes to complete. The survey will close at 10am on Friday 25th of April.

Your responses are anonymous and will help inform findings of the Economic Needs Assessment and the overall economic targets for the new Local Plan.

This survey includes optional questions inviting you to provide your business post code and email address. The post code is collected to understand how business needs vary around the borough. The email address is collected to keep you up to date with business-led collaboration on sustainability. No other personal identifiable data will be collected. Data will only be held while we undertake this work. Data will not be shared with a third party.
