To celebrate the launch of our new Climate Change and Biodiversity Strategies, Havant Borough Council is teaming up with The Spring Arts & Heritage Centre to launch our public photography competition.

- Submissions are open to all members of the public, including those who live within or outside of the borough, but the competition is aimed at amateur photographers
- Photographs must be taken within the borough of Havant. Please specify in your submission where in the borough the photograph was taken
- Your entry must fall into one of the specified competition categories. These categories are open to personal interpretation; however, we are looking for photographs that highlight the beauty and diversity of our borough
- Entries must be submitted as digital copies only in a high-resolution format
- You can submit as many entries, in as many categories, as you wish. Please submit each entry individually.
- Images do not have to be taken specifically during the competition timeframe, submissions can include photos from your archives
- Havant Borough Council and The Spring Arts & Heritage Centre take no responsibility for any copyright disputes arising from photographs submitted without proper permissions
- By entering, you grant Havant Borough Council the right to use the photograph for future communications, promotional materials, and related purposes in perpetuity. Credits will be given to the photographer where possible. No feeds will be payable for any of these uses
- Havant Borough Council and The Spring Arts & Heritage Centre reserve the right to exclude any entry from the competition at any time and it its discretion if we have reason to believe that an entrant has breached any of these rules
- Please stay safe, act responsibly and respectfully of the wildlife, nature and habitats when taking photographs. Always follow the Countryside Code
- Participants agree to these terms when submitting entries
All entries must be submitted by Sunday 23 February 2025. Unfortunately we will be unable to accept submissions after this date.
