Introduction
As outlined in the document you have seen, Norwood have commissioned us, Cordis Bright (an independent research organisation) and Natalie Grazin Ltd to support them in conducting a strategic review. As part of this work, Norwood are considering how best they can support children with SEND and their families in the future.
Why are you asking me?
We are interested to hear the views of parents and carers of children with SEND living in the Jewish community in North West London and Herts as part of this research.
What will be involved?
If you are happy to be involved in the research, please select the focus group you would like to attend on the next page. At the focus group, one of our researchers will ask you questions about whether existing services meet your children’s needs, where gaps in provision exist and how these could be filled, and how services can improve in the future.
Who will know about this?
The only people who will know that you are involved in the research is you, researchers from Cordis Bright, Natalie Grazin and the other people who attend the focus group. Only our researchers will be allowed to record what you say and this information will not be shared with anyone else.
The only time that our researchers would tell someone else what you have said is if you say something which makes us think that you or someone else is at risk of harm. If this happens then we would have to tell the relevant authorities but we would try to speak to you before doing so.
Your name will not be included in the report that we produce. Information and data will be stored and handled in line with the Data Protection Act, and will be deleted after the completion of the project in line with our data protection policies.
What happens next?
If you are happy to be involved in the research, then please select the focus group you would like to attend on the next page and provide us with some information. We will get in touch with you to confirm your place in the focus group. It will be first come first serve.
If you do not want to be involved then that's fine.
