Northstowe - Future Early Years and Childcare Provision

Dear Resident,

This survey of 6 short questions is to help Cambridgeshire County Council understand the views of local families regarding the type of funded childcare they would like to see incorporated into the next primary school within the new town of Northstowe (including Rampton Drift).

Specifically, we would like to know whether it should be full day-care, e.g. a nursery, which offers extended hours between 7.30am and 6pm throughout the year, or sessional provision eg a pre-school which offers two three-hour sessions per day, for 0 - 4 ages and is open term-time only. 
The information you provide will inform the specification to secure a new provider who will operate from the education campus from September 2024. The more of you who respond, the better we can plan for you and your children.

This survey is to assist and inform Cambridgeshire County Council in its statutory duties to secure sufficient and suitable childcare places (Childcare Act 2006). We may share your information with our consultants, our partners and with the council analysis team.

You do not have to give us any personal information. We will not publish any personal details you do give us, but may publish our response, and include it in public reports, with personal details removed. Personal data will be held securely, in accordance with data protection legislation. We will only store it for 12 months after the results have been analysed.
