Newark Community Governance Review - Stage 2 Consultation
Newark and Sherwood District Council is carrying out a governance review of Newark Town Council in response to the continued housing growth in the town.
We invited initial comments on the existing Ward boundaries and electoral arrangements in January 2025 and the findings were presented at General Purposes Committee on Thursday 20 March 2025.
The Council’s General Purposes Committee have considered all the representations submitted to formulate and share the draft recommendations for a second period of consultation.
We are inviting a second and final stage of comments on the Ward boundaries. The consultation period closes on Friday 2 May at 5pm.
