Subsidy award registration form

Please complete all questions (including 3, 4 and 5 where applicable). An explanation of the requested information is in the guidance notes.

For help completing this form please contact transparency@gov.wales.

1. Contact email address *

2. Is your subsidy a standalone subsidy?

A standalone subsidy award is a subsidy which is not given as part of a scheme. All standalone subsidy awards must be uploaded, there is no threshold below which there is an exemption from the obligation to upload an award (unless an exemption in Part 3 of the Subsidy Control Act applies).

3. Subsidy control number or name (for subsidies under a scheme only)

Subsidy control number: For example, SC92138. This must match the subsidy scheme that this award is related to.

Subsidy control name: This is the name of the subsidy scheme that this award is related to.

4. Related admin programme (for subsidies under a scheme only)

If giving similar subsidies under a streamlined route or a primary public authority scheme, an 'administrative programme' (also referred to as a 'grouping') allows those subsidies to be grouped and uploaded in bulk to the database.

5. Legal basis (for standalone, non-scheme subsidy only)

This is the legal justification of this subsidy, for example ‘Section 60(1) of the Government of Wales Act 2006’ or ‘Section 1(2), 1(3)d and 1(7) of the Welsh Development Agency Act 1975’.

6. What is the specific policy objective of the subsidy?

A brief summary of the specific public policy objective you set out in Principle A of your principles assessment.

Note: due to word count limitations, please do not copy the full principle A assessment. If using a legacy subsidy scheme created before 4 January 2023 please leave blank.

7. Description of subsidy award

Please include the following information in the description:

  • outline the nature and/or purpose of this particular award
  • duration of the subsidy and a summary of any other limits attached to the use of the subsidy
