ReSPECT Patient and Carer Feedback Questionnaire

A ReSPECT plan is intended to put the individual at the heart of decisions about their future emergency healthcare.  It creates clinical recommendations that fit with people’s values and priorities, to guide care in a future emergency. These recommendations are created through conversations between a person, their families, and their healthcare professionals to understand what matters to them in a healthcare crisis.   ReSPECT is a national approach created by the Resuscitation Council UK.

We would really appreciate hearing about your experience of completing your ReSPECT plan.  Your feedback can help us to continue to develop ReSPECT planning in Ayrshire and Arran.

To share your views and feedback please answer the few short questions below.  The questions don’t ask for any personal information and your responses will only be used to help inform future ReSPECT planning.  Thank you for taking the time to complete this feedback questionnaire, your feedback is very important to us.

1. I had enough opportunity to prepare for a discussion about my ReSPECT plan (e.g. receiving information in advance and having the opportunity to invite the people I wanted).
