Minimum rates of pay 2025

1. Welcome

Dear Colleague,

The adult statutory minimum or National Living Wage (NLW) rose by 6.7% from £11.44 to £12.21 on 1 April 2025, available to all workers aged 21 and over.
IDR is conducting a survey in order to understand how this uprating affects employers across the UK. The survey also aims to gather insights into the use of the voluntary or 'real' living wage, as recommended by the Living Wage Foundation.

Please take a few minutes to complete our poll, which asks how organisations might adapt to the latest rise in the statutory minimum wage, or implement the voluntary rates, and examines the impact on workforces.

The information that you provide will be used to prepare a short report on the results and we will share this with you as a thank-you for your participation.
