Background
Forest Research want to speak to woodland owners or managers in England, Scotland, and Wales about public access to your woodland.
Participation would involve
an interview of around 1 hour, by video call, phone, or in person – whatever best suits you. We will ask about your objectives for managing the woodland, and your experience of different types of public access on your land.
Who do we want to speak to?
We want to speak to a wide range of woodland owners. By answering the questions below, you will help us to select a mix of participants. If you are selected, we will get in touch with some further information. You will then be able to decide whether you would like to continue, and we will arrange an interview.
The questions here
We are collecting the information here only to select research participants. If you are not selected then we will delete your responses to the questions below by March 31st, 2024.
If you are selected for interview, we may retain the data indefinitely, however after March 31st, 2024 data will be anonymised, so you will not be able to be identified. Before the interview, you will receive further, full information about how data collected via interview will be stored and managed and will have the chance to provide you consent to this.
You do not have to answer all the questions below. Completing the questions does not obligate you to take part. You can withdraw at any point.
Depending on numbers, we may not be able to get back to everyone. Please accept our apologies if you do not hear from us.
If you have any questions or concerns at this point, please get in touch with the lead researcher -
