About this survey
Liverpool City Council is working on a new strategy to help people who are already homeless, or sleeping rough, and to prevent others from becoming homeless. We would like to hear your views on our ideas.
Homelessness and Rough Sleeping
Liverpool is facing pressures in relation to homelessness, including an increase in rough sleeping. We are finding it increasingly challenging to prevent this and to find long-term housing solutions.
Evictions from private rented homes and domestic abuse are major causes of homelessness in Liverpool.
New Strategy
Liverpool City Council is working with Campbell Tickell Ltd to develop the new strategy and to plan ways to improve the housing situation in Liverpool.
We have already talked to homeless people, and partners in the housing and homelessness sector, to help develop our Draft Homelessness and Rough Sleeping Strategy.
We have looked at Liverpool services to see how well they perform at preventing and relieving homelessness and rough sleeping, and where improvement is needed.
Our vision is to make homelessness rare, by focusing on prevention, make homelessness brief, by providing a rapid response to need, and make homelessness non-recurring, by offering long-term solutions.
