The Future of Linlithgow Palace
Visit to Kinneil House

The first of our 2023 talks will be 'The Future of Linlithgow Palace', by Historic Environment Scotland Chief Executive, Alex Paterson.

Many people in Linlithgow are very concerned that the Palace has been closed to visitors for so long. Over the winter months, Historic Environment Scotland have undertaken a detailed survey of the palaces stonework, which has been deemed as unsafe and dangerous. For this talk, the Chief Executive of HES will give an update of the survey’s findings, and reveal the plans for the future of Linlithgow Palace.

The talk will be on Wednesday 22nd February, at Queen Margaret Hall, starting at 7:45pm (doors at 7:30).

The talk is free, and non-members are welcome to attend. In order to gauge numbers, please complete your details below.

If you have any questions, or know of anyone who would be interested in giving a talk to our members, please get in touch.
