1. Welcome to IDR's 2025 survey of hybrid working practices
Dear Colleague,
Recent months have seen numerous organisations in the headlines for rowing back on the home working or even hybrid arrangements they had implemented in the wake of the pandemic.
When we first surveyed employers on this topic, in 2022, we found that formal policies on hybrid working were not particularly widespread and that where they did exist, they were not always rigidly enforced. Three years on, we are seeking to understand the extent to which employers are now mandating office attendance and whether reward policies and practices have changed in response to hybrid working. We also look at what measures are in place to support workforces that continue to operate in this way and ensure effective collaboration in hybrid-working teams.
