Mental Wellbeing Questions
The Warwick-Edinburgh Mental Wellbeing scale was developed to enable the monitoring of mental wellbeing in the general population and the evaluation of projects, programmes and policies which aim to improve mental wellbeing.
In 2022 the 14 questions within the scale were included in a wider Health and Wellbeing Census and a decision was taken to ask these questions of pupils in S1-S6 on an annual basis to help us monitor young people’s emotional wellbeing according to the scale.
Lockdown Lowdown Questions
In addition to the questions on mental wellbeing, this survey includes questions which were asked in the Lockdown Lowdown survey in 2020.
School Leaver Satisfaction Questions
This survey includes a section for young people who have decided to leave school during this academic year 2023/24. School leavers are defined as young people who will no longer be on a school roll in 2024/25.
