Humanitarian Scholarship: 2025/26 Application Form

To apply for the scholarship, you must have applied (via UCAS) to The University of Manchester for a place on an undergraduate course starting in September 2025. You do not need to have received an academic offer in order to apply for the scholarship but we will look at which applicants have been made an offer when shortlisting for the scholarship.

The deadline for scholarship applications is 31 March 2025 at 1700hrs (GMT).

How to complete this application form

Most questions on the form require answers. Please type n/a in the boxes you wish to leave blank.

If you wish to leave the form and come back to it at a later date, use the 'save and continue' option. You will receive an email with a 'continue' link. If you do not receive an email please check your junk folder. Please also double check you have entered your email address correctly and use the same email as you did for your academic application. 

Please note that you will be asked to upload the following documents at the end of the application:

• A referee's supporting statement. The statement should be no more than 500 words. Further information about the format and content of the statement, can be found here.
• A copy of your academic offer to study at The University of Manchester.
• School, College or any University qualifications (certificate and transcripts), showing subjects taken and grades achieved.
• A copy of the ID pages of your passport.
  All documents must be uploaded and submitted with your application; documents sent by email will not be considered.

Once you submit your application you will be prompted to print out your application, we suggest that you do this because you will not receive separate confirmation by email.
