We would like your views on the potential of putting in place a City Wide Firework Control Zone in Glasgow in the future.

A Firework Control Zone will mean that certain fireworks will no longer be permitted to be set off in Glasgow. It will also be a crime under the Fireworks and Pyrotechnics Act Scotland 2022, enforceable by law, by which you can be arrested if you set off a firework in a Fireworks Control Zone.

Your feedback is important as we consider the establishment of  a Fireworks Control Zone in Glasgow. The purpose of this survey is to gather your opinions and preferences regarding the implementation of such a zone. Your responses will contribute to the decision-making process.

The survey will take around 5 minutes to complete.

The deadline for taking part in the survey is 20th October 2024.

We undertake consultation and engagement with the public to give respondents the opportunity to give us their views and opinions, which help shape the policies we make and the services we deliver.  However, the Council will not tolerate the use of abusive or obscene language, and these comments/views will be disregarded and not included as part of the response.
