The Government of Jersey has given Jersey Development Company (JDC) the task of updating and modernising Fort Regent, to transform it into the primary all-weather leisure destination for the island. JDC has listened to islanders’ feedback on previous plans and developed a proposal that aims to refurbish the Fort with a sensitive approach to its heritage, ensuring it reflects the island's needs, while being conscious of capital costs to the public and delivering a financially sustainable proposition that will secure the long-term future of the Fort.
