Influence local healthcare decisions that affect you
by completing short online polls and surveys
Run by Direct Data Analysis (a research company based in Staffordshire) and working with the Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent Integrated Care Board (ICB), the People's Panel is a group of residents who take part in surveys to express their views on health services in Staffordshire and Stoke on Trent.
It is a good opportunity to influence how services are delivered, highlight issues, and help shape health services in your community.
How you can play a role
If you decide to join our People’s Panel, there are two main ways in which you will be involved. Firstly, we will email you a few online surveys throughout the year that are short and interesting to complete. These surveys will give the Integrated Care Board vital information to help change services for the better.
Secondly, you may also be invited to take part in focus groups (this is voluntary). These are face-to-face meetings with other members of the panel where we invite you to discuss and share your opinions on various health and care matters.
What are the benefits of joining the panel?
- Invite you to tell us your views about services you are interested in through regular short online surveys.
- Enter you into a prize draw with the chance of winning one of two £50 love2shop vouchers for each survey you take part in.
- Send you a newsletter twice a year – to provide updates about the panel, explain how your comments have been used to shape healthcare locally and to share news about health care providers in Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent.
What is the Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent Integrated Board?
The Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent Integrated Care Board replaces the six Clinical Commissioning Groups and has the statutory responsibility for commissioning and monitoring local health and care services, including GP services. In April 2023 these duties will increase when the ICBs become responsible for wider primary care services (pharmacy, dentistry and optometry) and also some specialised commissioning.
