The Mayor’s Community Awards aim to recognise groups and individuals who make a valuable contribution and commitment to improving the lives of others across the Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council area.

We all know people who go the extra mile to help others without looking for praise or reward. Why not take the time to say ‘thank you’ to those people/groups who do so much for our local communities.

All you have to do is take a few moments to complete this nomination form.  

If you feel the organisation or individual meets with the criteria, then select the category that best applies to the group/individual you have in mind.  It is important you give as much information as possible to ensure the panel can understand the role played by the nominee and the impact their work has had within the community. When scoring, the following objectives will be assessed:

• Impact -  How does the nominee contribute to community life?
• Benefit - Is anyone better off as a result of the services being delivered?
• Collaboration - How well does the nominee work with others? 

Please be advised, the judging panel may (at their discretion) revise the category to one that best fits the nomination.

In the case of the nomination process, self-nominations will not be accepted.

Entries must be received by 4pm on Monday 11th November 2024.  Applications received after this date WILL NOT be accepted.
