Communication connects us, but we all communicate differently. Good, inclusive communication matters to us all. It lets us live well and be part of our communities. It should be an expected part of everyday life.
Most of us will require help to communicate at some point in our lives. Currently, that often means people have problems with equal access to employment, education, health and social care, and community life. But when we get communication right, everyone benefits.
The ALLIANCE is developing a campaign to improve inclusive communication for everyone in Scotland. As part of that, we want to learn more about your communication experiences. We want to use people’s stories to change how Scottish Government and other decision-makers think about communication, and why it matters.
Taking part if voluntary and you can withdraw at any time. Any information you share will be used in line with the ALLIANCE’s privacy policy. We will remove any information which could identify you before publishing your stories as part of our campaign.
If you have any questions, please email sensory@alliance-scotland.org.uk, or phone 0141 404 0231 and ask to speak to the Scottish Sensory Hub team.
This survey will take around 10 to 15 minutes.
