This is the application form for the CoMPASs: Computational Materials Science and Mathematics at the Particle and Atomistic Scale workshop, Monday 3 - Friday 7 November 2025.

Please note all successful participants will be required to pay a 150.00 GBP registration fee. If you are an Early Career Researcher, this fee will be waived. 

Applications to attend will close 13 June. You will be contacted by Shani Andrews (ICMS Events Co-ordinator) once the organisers have reviewed all applications.

An ECR is an individual who is within eight years of the award of their PhD or equivalent professional training, or an individual who is within six years of their first academic appointment. These durations exclude any period of career break, e.g. for family care or health reasons. *

Please note: we can only book accommodation for single occupancy and for a maximum of 5 nights (arr Sun 2 Nov. & Fri 7 Nov) if you are based within the UK and a maximum of 6 nights for ROW/EU (arr Sun 2 Nov & Sat 8 Nov). If you wish additional occupancy; additional nights or different dates, you will be required to book your own accommodation. *

15. There are limited funds available to support participants. If you have access to your own funds or grant, it would be helpful if you could use them so that we can support Early Career Researchers.
