Community Pharmacy: Pharmacy Screening Questionnaire

1. Community Pharmacy Contractual Framework Evaluation

0%

Thank you for considering taking part in the evaluation of clinical services provided under the
Community Pharmacy Contractual Framework (CPCF)!

This project evaluates six clinical services, namely, Blood Pressure Checks, New Medicine Services, Discharge Medicine Services, Smoking Cessation Services, Influenza Vaccinations, and Pharmacy Contraception Services. We are interested in finding out about how these services work from your experience – there are no right or wrong answers. Your input in this evaluation is essential so that future developments of the CPCF can take into account the needs of community pharmacies and that the clinical services meet the needs of the population who use them.

Who do we want to speak to? Any pharmacists, pharmacy staff or contractors involved in the provision, management, or contractual arrangements of CPCF services.

What are we asking you to do?

If you agree to be involved in this study, we’ll ask you to:

  • Talk to us confidentially about your professional experience of working in a pharmacy. This will be in a 1-to-1 interview over the telephone or via a video call, at a time that suits you. You will receive £25 pounds as a thank you for your time and may also be eligible to receive £150 for half a day to hire a locum to support your participation.
  • (Optional) put up some flyers in your pharmacy to help us recruit patients/users of your pharmacy for focus groups.
  • (Optional) let us visit your pharmacy for 2-3 days to observe how services are running. You may be eligible for £150 per day for a locum to support site visits.

Taking part is entirely voluntary and you can decide not to take part or withdraw from the study at any time with no penalty or loss.

These Privacy Notices for NHS England and RAND Europe detail how the data is shared and processed by both organisations.

More information about this evaluation is available on the project website.
