Heaven Bridge

 
A prophesy in the Old Testament says that God ‘… will create new heavens and a new earth …’ and, in the New Testament, Jesus teaches us to pray for the Kingdom to come, ‘… on earth as in heaven’. But what's your picture of heaven on earth in a modern world where injustice, poverty, discrimination and existential threats to the planet remain causes for concern?

Throughout 2020, we are gathering contributions from the hundreds of people who pass through Hope Chapel in the centre of Hebden Bridge. So, whether you come in for a bit of peace and quiet or to enjoy a performance on stage or to use one of the community rooms, take a minute to make your contribution. 

Towards the end of the year, a collaborative and creative community event will bring the contributions together, prompting us all to think about what  we can do to make the world a better place to live in - starting with Hebden Bridge.
